Katahdin Drone Services

Bringing the most advanced drone technology to deliver precision and accuracy for thermal inspections, construction reality capture & progress monitoring, advanced 3D modeling, site surveys, topographical mapping and more…

  • Ground-controlled aerial data collection using GCPs w/ RTK.

  • Construction site reality capture & progress monitoring.

  • Thermal inspections of solar assets.

  • Post-processing photogrammetry.

Beyond the advanced drone technology, I also bring…

  • The FAA requires all drone pilots who are operating for commercial use to be licensed under Part 107. Beware of any drone operators who are not Part 107 licensed as it will expose you to unnecessary risk and liability by using their services.

  • Solar farm inspections require a working knowledge of thermography with special consideration given for aerial drone-based applications. I have been trained and certified by Infraspection Institute and currently hold both Level 2 Thermographer and sUAS Thermographer certificaitons.

  • I have received training and certification from Drone Launch Academy in the following areas specific to advanced aerial survey and mapping:

  • Operating expensive drone technology with multiple thermal, wide angle and zoom cameras over and around high value solar assets carries with it a high degree of risk. I hold a policy with $2M in liability coverage through Skywatch.AI to protect you during an inspection. Do not expose yourself or your solar assets to unnecessary risk by working with uninsured or underinsured drone operators.
